HPF 4 Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System with Low Alkaline

Reverse Osmosis is the best and most reliable form of water filtration for drinking water. It can successfully remove almost all the contamination found in our water supplies nowadays including chlorine, heavy metals, fluoride, hardness, salts, and other inorganic substances.

Our Range of Undersink Reverse Osmosis Systems are designed for Australian water and can effectively remove chloramines used in most capital cities nowadays due to the chloramine removal pre-filter.

The 4 Stage Reverse Osmosis Unit is designed to remove as much contamination as possible and provide you with clean, great-tasting water with a neutral to weak alkaline pH reading between 7 – 7.5.

The system achieves this by using the Caware Dual Action Coconut Carbon & Alkaline Mineral Filter which feeds backtrace elements into the water after the filtration such as calcium to gently buffer the pH of the water to neutral/weak alkaline levels.

This system is an affordable option if you are looking for a basic reverse osmosis filtration system without compromising on quality. Reverse osmosis water filters are reliable and cheap for cartridge replacements.

Benefits:

•         WaterMark Certified Reverse Osmosis Filter System

•         Heavy Duty Twin O-Ring Housings

•         Stylish Certified Faucet Tap – Modern Design Swan Neck

•         Unique Chloramine Removal Capability

•         pH Neutralising Alkaline Post Filter

•         50 GPD Low Waste RO Membrane

•         12L Water Storage Tank & Universal Drain Clamp

•         Fitting Kit including – Everything Required for Installation

About this RO System

This 4 stage reverse osmosis water filter system consists of a sediment cartridge to remove any dirt, lumps & bumps or any sediments from the water. The water then flows through a chloramine removal carbon cartridge to remove the chlorine, chloramines & chemicals from the water prior to the water flowing through the RO Membrane.

It is the RO membrane that is the heart & soul of any RO system. The RO membrane splits the water into clean water and wastewater, sending the contaminants to waste.

The RO membrane is an excellent way to remove fluoride, heavy metals, and PFAS from the water.

Effective PFAS Reduction

Our reverse osmosis (RO) systems are designed to effectively reduce harmful contaminants, including PFAS. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), properly maintained RO devices can eliminate up to 99.9% of PFOA. The reason RO systems are so effective is that they have a carbon filter first, then the membrane, and another carbon filter at the end, providing you with cleaner, safer water for your family.

Water supplied to most homes in cities & towns across Australia will have a pH level around 7 to 7.5pH level which is alkaline.

Once the water flows through the membrane, all the minerals are stripped out of the water and the pH level will drop to around the 6pH mark which is acidic.

We do not recommend anyone drinks water with a pH level under 7 for an extended period unless under the direction of a doctor or suitable professional.

Once the pure water flows out of the membrane, it is stored in the tank. The tank is most commonly a 12-litre tank that pushes the water out through the alkaline/carbon cartridge to buffer the water's pH to above the 7 pH mark.

Filtration Stages

Stage 1: Polypropylene Spun Sediment Filter 5 Micron

Replace this cartridge every 6 - 12 months for town/city treated water.

The purpose of stage 1 is to remove all the suspended matter such as silt, rust sand, algae, sediment, scale particles, dirt and cloudiness from the water.

Stage 2: 100% Coconut Carbon Block Filter 5 Micron

Replace this cartridge every 6 - 12 months for town/city treated water.

The purpose of stage 2 is to remove herbicides, pesticides, chlorine, chloramines, chlorine by-products, and organic chemicals to protect you and the membrane.

Stage 3: Asprinn 50GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane 0.0001 Micron

Replace Every 1-4 Years (Depending On Water Quality)

This is the heart and soul of this reverse osmosis system. It removes over 98% of impurities including Organic & Inorganic Minerals, Heavy Metals & Fluoride

After the water passes through the membrane it travels to the 12 litre storage tank.

This is where the pure water is stored until you draw water from your filtration faucet on your kitchen sink.

When you turn on your faucet that is when the water will move out of the holding tank and towards the final 4th stage of filtration.

The Membrane can be replaced every 3 to 5 years.

Stage 4: Inline Carbon / Alkaline Filter Cartridge

Replace Every 12 Months or when the water pH level drops down to 7pH or drops lower than you like to consume

This cartridge buffers the pH of your drinking water to above 7pH after the reverse osmosis treatment. The system achieves this by using the Caware Dual Action Coconut Carbon & Alkaline Mineral Filter which feeds back trace elements into the water such as calcium to gently buffer the pH of the water to neutral/weak alkaline levels.

It also polishes the water and removes any taste, or odour water may have picked up while sitting in the tank.
