HPF 20 Micron Pleated Sediment Water Filter Replacement Cartridge 10" x 2.5"
High Performance Filtration Pleated Filters are manufactured using Virgin 100% Polypropylene Fibre. Pleated filters are best utilised where there are higher levels of sediment or dirt in the water that would usually block polypropylene spun filters prematurely.
HPF's range of Polypropylene Pleated Filters are compatible with most liquids and are highly effective at reducing Sediment, Rust, Sand, Silt and Algae. Pleated cartridges have a much larger surface area for filtration, allowing the cartridge to have a heavier sediment load before compromising pressure or flow in a system. The increased surface area is also designed for higher flow rate systems. This allows the filter to perform exceptionally over its entire lifespan.
HPF 5 Micron Polyspun Sediment Water Filter Replacement Cartridge 10" x 2.5"
High Performance Filtration Spun Filters are manufactured using Virgin 100% Polypropylene that is blown and spun simultaneously to form the filter cartridge. This process allows the cartridge to be manufactured without using a centre core which would restrict performance. Melt blown filters also do not contain adhesives or binders so there is no chemical residual left in the filtered water.
HPF's range of Polypropylene Spun Filters are compatible with most liquids and are highly effective at reducing Sediment, Rust, Sand, Silt and Algae. The unique weight and density structure in HPF Spun Filters enables the cartridge to have a heavier sediment load before compromising pressure or flow in a system, this allows the filter to perform exceptionally over its entire lifespan.
HPF 0.5 Micron Silver Impregnated Carbon Block Water Filter Replacement Cartridge 10" x 2.5"
High Performance Filtration Silver Impregnated Carbon Block Filters are made from 100% high performance coconut shell carbon with a high iodine number of 1200, providing increased chemical reduction and excellent contaminant reduction capabilities. The premium carbon block construction delivers effective filtration while maintaining a low pressure drop and good dirt holding capacity.
These 0.5 micron carbon block filters effectively reduce chlorine, tastes and odours, while providing over 95% reduction of VOCs as tested by WQA. The filter media is also silver impregnated, providing bacteriostatic properties that help inhibit bacterial growth within the cartridge.
With a nominal filtration rating of 0.5 micron, this cartridge is ideal for tank water, and other non chlorinated water supplies where reliable carbon filtration and chemical reduction are required.
The cartridge is compliant with NSF/ANSI 42 and 61, meeting recognised standards for filtration performance as well as the purity and safety of materials used in its construction. Its combination of high iodine coconut carbon, fine micron filtration and silver impregnated media makes it a high performance choice for improving the quality, taste and odour of your water.
Ultraviolet Tube
The UV lamp works for 9000 hours or 1 year and should be replaced once a year.
Calcite Alkaline Carbon Inline Filter
This new Inline Calcite/carbon Filter is for use as a pH neutralising cartridge.
Guaranteed to raise the pH to neutral 7 pH, although our testing has shown that we are reaching a much higher pH of around 8.4 - 8-9 at least while the cartridge is new.
The life of the cartridge is still 12 months as is the case for all cartridges containing carbon.
Running this cartridge beyond 12 months could run the risk not only of poor quality, taste or odour - but also could loose the ability to produce alkaline water.
Not withstanding that, the cartridge may need changing earlier if:

The ph of the water drops below 7pH
-
the taste and/or odour returns to the water.
Tank water can be acidic. If you are running standard filtration, this cartridge can be added as a final stage before the faucet to again neutralise the low pH.
