Stage 2 – Fluoride Reduction Cartridge (USA-Made by Omnipure)

This fluoride removal cartridge is made by Omnipure in the USA & effectively removes fluoride from your drinking water up to 97%. Recommended to be replaced after 2000 litres or 5.5 litres per day for 12 months. The fluoride removal media is made from the same minerals that rubies and sapphires are made from in crystalline form.

The filtration process is called "selective absorption". Which is a mixture of a physical/chemical reaction where the fluoride ions are removed by binding to the media's oxidised surface.

This is a very highly porous material with a massive surface area of 200 square metres per gram, providing great fluoride reduction results.

Here we are at the last stage of the filtration process. At this stage, the water is filtered and all the nasty contaminants have been removed. This will also elevate the pH to be a high alkaline.

Capacity 

To guarantee performance, the 3 in 1 Sediment cartridge, the Disruptor® cartridge, and the Alkaliser cartridge have an estimated service life of 12 to 18 months or 3000 liters, whichever comes first, depending on water quality and usage. The Fluoride removal cartridge is recommended to be replaced after 2000 litres or 5.5 litres per day for 12 months. The Alkaliser  cartridge lifespan will depend on the pH of the water, simply conduct a pH test from time to time and replace the Alkaliser cartridge when the pH level drops lower than you would like to consume. Signs for replacement include changes in water taste, odor, pH or pressure.
