Filtration Stages

Stage 1 – Fluoride Reduction Cartridge (USA-Made by Omnipure)

This fluoride removal cartridge is made by Omnipure in the USA & effectively removes fluoride from your drinking water up to 97%. Recommended to be replaced after 2000 litres or 5.5 litres per day for 12 months. The fluoride removal media is made from the same minerals that rubies and sapphires are made from in crystalline form.

The filtration process is called "selective absorption". Which is a mixture of a physical/chemical reaction where the fluoride ions are removed by binding to the media's oxidised surface.

This is a very highly porous material with a massive surface area of 200 square metres per gram, providing great fluoride reduction results.

The Disruptor® 10" x 2.5" Filter Cartridge utilizes patented Disruptor® filtration technology, integrating multiple advanced filtration methods. These methods include electroadsorption, which uses an electropositive charge to attract and capture negatively charged submicron particles like viruses, bacteria, and colloids. Depth filtration captures particles throughout the entire thickness of the filter, and nanofiber surface area significantly enhances the ability to trap extremely fine contaminants. Submicron filtration ensures the removal of particles smaller than one micron, including many harmful microorganisms and suspended solids that can bypass less advanced filters.

Q: Is it hard to install?

Not at all. We supply the ULTRAPURE water filters fully assembled. So all the qualified person needs to do, is connect the T-piece, 2 x screws to hold the system to the wall, install the faucet and connect the hoses, install & flush the cartridges. We also include easy-to-follow instructions.

Q: Will this filter make my tap water taste better?
