Q: Is it hard to install?
Not at all. We supply the ULTRAPURE water filters fully assembled. So all the qualified person needs to do is connect the T-piece, 2 x screws to hold the system to the wall, install the faucet and connect the hoses, install & flush the cartridges. We also include easy-to-follow instructions.
Q: Will this filter make my tap water taste better?
Absolutely. Most customers notice a huge improvement in taste and smell within the first use. The ULTRAPURE filter removes chlorine, odours, and organic matter that often give tap water a “chemical” or metallic taste.
Q: Can I use this with rainwater or tank water?
No. For rain water you need to remove the bacteria. So please see the ULTRAPURE triple under sink rain water system which is ideal for tank water. It can remove sediment, bacteria, and unpleasant tastes, making non-mains water much safer and more pleasant to drink. But for rain water we would recommend adding some minerals to elevate the water pH above 7pH.

- First Use: Flush the new cartridge with water for 5 minutes before drinking to remove any carbon fines.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Operates within a temperature range of 5 - 38°C.

- Turn off the incoming water supply.
- Open the faucet to drain pressure.
- Remove the filter housing and empty the water.

Q: Is it hard to install?
Not at all. We supply the ULTRAPURE water filters fully assembled. So all the qualified person needs to do is connect the T-piece, 2 x screws to hold the system to the wall, install the faucet and connect the hoses, install & flush the cartridges. We also include easy-to-follow instructions.
Q: Will this filter make my tap water taste better?
Absolutely. Most customers notice a huge improvement in taste and smell within the first use. The ULTRAPURE filter removes chlorine, odours, and organic matter that often give tap water a “chemical” or metallic taste.
Q: Can I use this with rainwater or tank water?
No. For rain water you need to remove the bacteria. So please see the ULTRAPURE triple under sink rain water system which is ideal for tank water. It can remove sediment, bacteria, and unpleasant tastes, making non-mains water much safer and more pleasant to drink. But for rain water we would recommend adding some minerals to elevate the water pH above 7pH.

How to Install a Twin Under Sink Water Filter
Maintenance and Replacement of Cartridges
- Replacement Interval: Replace cartridges every 12 - 18 months or sooner if water flow slows significantly or taste changes.
- First Use: Flush the new cartridge with water for 5 minutes before drinking to remove any carbon fines.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Operates within a temperature range of 5 - 38°C.
Cartridge Replacement:
- Turn off the incoming water supply.
- Open the faucet to drain pressure.
- Remove the filter housing and empty the water.
- Remove the plastic wrap from the new cartridge and install.
- Turn on the water supply and flush for 5 minutes.
