How to Test Your Carbon Candles

1. Put one tablespoon of turmeric powder into the water in a mixing container. Stir it well.
2. Pour the mixture into the top part of the water filter. (Watch as the coloured water goes through the carbon candle and gets filtered automatically)
3. Get the clear water that comes out in a glass. 
4. Check if it looks clear. If the colour, taste, and smell are gone, then your candles are working perfectly.

How to Clean Your RAMA Carbon 8" Fast Filtration Water Purifier Candle

Cleaning the RAMA Carbon differs from the Ceramic cartridges. When filtration slows down, follow these steps:

1. Remove the RAMA Carbon from the Water Filter.
2. Remove the nozzle, turn it over and screw it back into the threaded stem.
3. Press the reverse nozzle up against the tap and hold it for 3 to 4 minutes to flush the dirt particles.
4. Ensure water enters through the nozzle of the cup attached to the RAMA Carbon cartridge.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE a scrub pad or any scrubbing material to remove blockages from the RAMA Carbon cartridge.

Fully Disposable Cartridges

Simply wrap your worn-out cartridges up in old newspapers and place them into your rubbish bin.
