Filtration Stages

STAGE 1 - 5 Micron Carbon Filter

This carbon filter cartridge removes sediments (dirt, sand, rust, or any particles) and other pollutants (chlorine, chemicals, herbicides, pesticides) from your water to protect the following cartridges which allows them to work at their optimum.

STAGE 2 - 5 Micron Carbon Filter

This carbon filter cartridge in position 2 is the same cartridge as in position 1. This cartridge is repeated to ensure as much contaminant as possible is removed before the water flows into the membrane which is the powerhouse of this water filter.

STAGE 3 - Reverse Osmosis Membrane (0.0005 microns)

The third stage in this filtration system is the 75 GPD ultra-fine TFC RO membrane, which carefully filters out bacteria, viruses, fluoride, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, fire retardants, and many other contaminants.

STAGE 4 - pH Elevation Cartridge

At this point in the filtration process, the water has been filtered down to 0.0005 microns removing almost everything from this water, leaving the water mineral free with a pH level around 6pH which is acidic.

Then as the water flows through this acid neutraliser cartridge calcite is absorbed by the water returning the water pH to a recommended low alkaline water.

STAGE 5 - Mineral Cartridge

The water then flows through the mineral cartridge, the water will dissolve & absorb the mineral increasing its quality. Why this extra mineral cartridge is so important is that after the water has passed through the reverse osmosis membrane, all the minerals have been removed from the water, so this is a great way to add back minerals & also a way to possibly add more. Carbon is included inside this cartridge, so the final pass of the water is through the carbon which polishes up the water and is one of the reasons why this water tastes so good.
