This TWIN Housing TCR RO is designed to be installed after a whole house water filter. The whole house water filter will have a large 20” sediment cartridge to block sediments in the water followed by blocks of carbon. Carbon is a fantastic way to filter chemicals, taste & odour from water.

Once the water flows through the whole house filter, the water then enters your TWIN Housing  TCR RO system, the first line of defense is the Pressure Limiting Valve, included with every system. This valve prevents water hammer and sudden bursts of pressure from damaging the system. It also helps regulate flow and prevents backflow.

Innovative 3-in-1 Cartridge Design

The water then flows inside and fills the first housing, where the first three stages of filtration occur with our unique 3-in-1 Cartridge Design:

Stage 1: Sediment Blockage: This initial stage captures and blocks sediment, dirt, rust, sand, silt, and other solid particles that may enter the water from the pipe work after the whole house filtration system.

Stage 2: NSF/ANSI 42 Certified Carbon: High-quality carbon begins the removal of Chlorine, Taste, Odour, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Mercury, Total Iron, Arsenic, Cyanide, Phenol, Hexavalent Chromium and more.

Stage 4: After passing through the first housing, the water then flows into the reverse osmosis membrane, the powerhouse of the filtration system. This is where the magic happens. It is the very slow flow rate, and the fine microns the membrane can filter down to that makes such good quality water.

Pure Water Storage and Final Filtration Stages

Once the pure water flows out of the membrane, it is stored in the PURE Water Tank where it’s ready for consumption. When you open your drinking water faucet, the bladder inside the PURE Water Tank pushes the water through the final two stages of filtration and out of the faucet.

In Stage 5, the pure water flows through a mineral cartridge, which adds essential minerals back into the water, raising the pH to a mild alkaline level between 7 and 8 pH - ideal for hydration and taste.
