Filtration Stages

This powerful whole house water filter uses 3 stages of filtration.

Stage 1: 5 Micron Sediment Cartridge

The Triple Gradient Sediment Filter is designed to effectively remove suspended particles, sand, dirt, rust, clay, mud, sand, and silt from water. This filter cartridge is unique in its design, as it has graded density layers that are shrink-wrapped individually. The outer layers of the filter are more porous, which allows them to catch larger particles, while the inner layers have a finer micron, which allows them to catch smaller particles.

This triple gradient sediment filter has been lab tested and is proven to reduce suspended particles, sand, dirt, rust, clay, sand, and algae. This stage protects the second stage filter and the entire unit from blockages. This cartridge delivers clean water at 50 litres per minute and is easily gauged by its colour when it’s time to be replaced.

Stage 2: 5 Micron Carbon Block Cartridge

The AquaCo carbon cartridge is a coconut shell-activated block that has been lab tested and proven to reduce chlorine and its byproducts, tastes, odours, VOCs, pesticides, herbicides, THMs, and chemicals from your water. It creates great-tasting water that is free from colour and cloudiness.

It features an advanced cap for better grip and seal inside the housing cap and is made from very durable polypropylene material. It uses a complex path of twists and turns to ensure all impurities are trapped within the pores of filtration media. The outer plastic net, made from polypropylene non-woven fabric, steadies everything in place and provides an extra layer of protection.

Where To Install A Whole House Water Filter

This way the filter is not filtering water that just flows onto the yard.
