To get the best results out of your fluoride removal cartridge, there are certain steps you need to follow.
When you replace the fluoride removal cartridge in your Ultrapure Water Filter, it must be flushed for 10 minutes, without any cartridges after it before being used.
How To Replace And Flush The Fluoride Removal Cartridge In Your Ultrapure Water Filter
- Remove the old cartridges from the system. Remove the plastic wrapping from each new cartridge. Install your new cartridges in the correct order until you install the Fluoride cartridge. To flush - do not have any cartridges installed after the fluoride cartridge.
- With all the housings tightened up, turn the water on and let it flush for 10 minutes straight flushing the fluoride cartridge and any cartridges before the fluoride cartridge.
- After flushing for 10 minutes - open the housings after the fluoride cartridge and install those cartridges.
- Turn the water on, and flush all cartridges together for a further 5 minutes.

Note: Be aware that if you've got a Benchtop Water Filter, when it says "This Way Up" on the cartridge, this way up goes down into the head cap.
