In this article, you will learn how easy it is to replace the cartridge in a Doulton Ultracarb Slimline Stainless Steel Benchtop Water Filter.
Replacing The Doulton Ultracarb Ceramic Filter Cartridge Is As Easy As Changing A Lightbulb.
Step 1: Unscrew the outer housing.
When you unscrew the housing, you may notice water gush out, so be sure to have it over the sink.
Step 2: Unscrew the cartridge and lift out.
After 12 months, it's time to say goodbye to most cartridges. When this time comes around we will be in contact with you, so its basically hands free water filtration if you deal with us.
Step 3: Screw the new cartridge in until finger tight.
Be careful when you are screwing plastic into steel. If you screw it up too tight, the plastic may crack.
Step 4: Place the housing back on and screw it up.
When handling a used cartridge, make sure you wash your hands or use gloves as there may be some bacteria on the cartridge’s surface.
Step 5: Run some water through your new cartridge for two minutes to flush it of any residue from manufacturing.
Now you have fresh, clean water for another 12 months.
Enjoy your drinking water!
