Does Fluoride Cause Memory Loss?

Fluoride is a mineral found in the earth and can also be added to drinking water and toothpaste as a public health measure to prevent tooth decay. But does fluoride cause memory loss and other neurological conditions?

Not enough clinical trials or double blind studies have been done to officially conclude the controversial age-old debate on fluoride, however, we do have enough data to come to a sensible conclusion.

Fluoride in Your Drinking Water Is Yet To Be Proven Safe

The push to remove fluoride from water supplies worldwide has been growing in recent years, with evidence coming out against it from several sources.

Now one of the world’s most prestigious medical journals, The Lancet has classified fluoride as being neurotoxic - which means it can damage your brain over time.

The report states that neurodevelopmental disabilities, including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and other cognitive impairments, are now affecting millions of children worldwide. They’re calling this a "pandemic in developmental neurotoxicity".

Fluoride has been labelled a tooth decay prevention for many years, and despite the risks - it remains scientifically unproven.

But it’s in our water supply anyway - whether we like it or not.

Impact of Fluoride On Childhood Neurological Development

A report from the Harvard School of Public health state conducted epidemiological studies of children exposed to fluoride from drinking water which analysed possible associations with IQ measures in more than 8,000 children.

All but one of these studies suggested that high fluoride content in water may negatively affect cognitive development.

The average loss in intelligence was recorded as a 0.45 difference, equalling a drop in 7 IQ points.

In other words, the research found that people have lost up to two-thirds of their brains' ability due to the effects of forgetting information faster than they can learn it!

How Does Fluoride Cause Memory Loss?

FLUORIDE FACILITATES THE ENTRY OF ALUMINIUM INTO THE BRAIN

In the 1970s, medical experts discovered that Alzheimer's patients had higher-than-normal concentrations of aluminium and fluoride in their brains. Experts now understand that fluoride may play a role in the aluminium/alzheimer’s connection.

Evidence shows that when aluminium comes into contact with fluoride, they form a bond (aluminium fluoride) which can pass through the blood-brain barrier and into the cells inside the brain, where they can accumulate.

The Blood-Brain Barrier

The blood-brain barrier is a filter that allows some substances to pass through and into the brain while keeping others out. Toxic substances which leak through the blood-brain barrier can cause neurological degeneration as time goes on.

In other studies, the Harvard School of Public Health analysed the data collected over 27 studies on the effects of fluoride and found a strong correlation between fluoride and adverse effects on brain development.

This is what’s responsible for the memory loss and can lead to Alzheimer's disease, because of how destructive aluminium is for the cells inside your central nervous system!

The Super Simple Solution

They say that prevention is better than cure, and it’s definitely a cheaper way to do things.

When you use a fluoride removal water filter, you remove the risk of neurological impairment due to aluminium entering the brain through your drinking water.
